Women are pretty amazing. One would think that with all our gifts, we’d have no problem recognizing the power we possess.
Unfortunately, the opposite seems to be true. It often takes a turning point in our lives to force us to meet our fears head on and push past the perceived barriers we have in front of us. Adversity exposes our inner strength and fully uncovers our true spirit.
Addiction is certainly not something we would wish upon anyone but having been in its clutches, we know it’s a powerful catalyst for change. By the time we’ve popped out the other end, it has rocked us to the core. So much so that we find ourselves stumbling to our feet searching for answers.
How did I get here? Why do I need to numb out? Am I fearful? Am I angry? What is this telling me about myself?
These are basic questions that can stir up some pretty messy shit, but that’s what it’s all about. Facing the discomfort to get to the other side.
As a seeker, your curiosity moves you to look beyond your story and see the possibility of creating different outcomes. You begin to view your life with more honesty and intrigue and less judgement. That’s all it takes. A willingness to be open to a deeper understanding of who you are and who you are meant to be.
Although the result is different for each of us, we’re going through similar transformations and coming out the other end wiser than we’ve ever been before.
Grateful for the experience that brought us here, and ready to make the changes necessary to live a richer and more heart driven life.
